If you are looking for a church that is different, you have found it in First Baptist Indialantic. We are not your typical First Baptist Church! Here at FBI we understand that God has strategically placed us here in Indialantic at this particular time in history to eternally impact our community and world for the Kingdom of God.
We understand that the Great Commission of Matthew 28.18-20 is as applicable today as it was the day Jesus spoke those words. As such, we embrace the central idea that First Baptist Indialantic exists to glorify God by making disciples of all nations. In that, we strive to make sure that everything we do undergirds this idea of making disciples.
Q: What should I wear?
Dress comfortably. Some people dress up, but most wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday mornings. Don’t worry about what you wear, as you’ll never feel out of place when you come casual.
Q: When should I arrive?
Sunday morning Bible study begins at 9:15 and our Family Worship service begins at 10:30. However we recommend that you arrive about 15 minutes early so that you can get directions and don’t miss any of the action.
Q: Where should I park?
You can park anywhere you like. Most first time guests park in the front of the church, either on Washington Ave. or in the Indialantic Elementary school parking lot, but most regulars park in the back off of Flug Ave.
Q: What about my children?
FBI has a nursery and children’s department well-staffed with people dedicated to the care and nurture of your children. The nursery is available through our entire service beginning at 9:15. WOW Kid’s worship is available for preschool and elementary kids during the 9:15 Bible studies and again after the music portion of our worship service at 10:30.
Q: What is the music like?
Here at FBI, we strive to be a church that reaches the whole community. As such, our music reflects the diversity of our community. The music incorporates traditional hymns and modern worship music. The music is led by our worship pastor along with a full band and worship choir. We do not define our worship as traditional, blended or contemporary. We say that we have a family worship service where the whole family, young and old, can worship together for the glory of God.
